About Me

Grew up in a small town on the south coast of Newfoundland. Moved to the city for university. Love-hate, on-off relationship with university that lasted for 10 years, but ended in a Master’s Degree so we stayed friends.

Starting publishing articles in local newspaper “The Independent,” back when it was a print paper and not www.theindependent.ca. Regular contributor to The Newfoundland Quarterly, shortlisted for the Cuffer Prize 2010. Check out my Writing page for more info.

After 10 years in St. John’s, ended up quite suddenly above the 60th Parallel. Now working as a Community Economic Development Officer in Arviat, Nunavut.

Trying to live a more creative life.
